Can't log in- forgot my password (18 posts)

  I'm my own administrator & I must have written my password down incorrectly- I've been logging in using an earlier unreadable keychain version. I accidentally erased the auto login password & now I can't log in using any version of any password I've ever used for ANYTHING. Please help! How can I reset my password or buy a new version of Fetch or do ANYTHING to get back into Fetch to upload material to my websites.

  Hi,

  When you log into your server Fetch is acting as a go-between. Fetch sends the password that you enter to the server, and the server answers either "yes, you can proceed" or "no, that isn't the password I was looking for." To fix this problem you need to contact your server administrator (which would be your web hosting company, if you were connecting to upload web pages) and have them reset your FTP login password, so that you have the password that the server expects.

  I cant get my password. It keeps saying it sent to my email but it's not showing up. My friend tried to log on to see if I was messing up a d sbe couldnt get on either. What am I doi g wrong and why want it send emails to my email address

  The password to login. I hit "forgot password" and I get the reply to go to my email. But...i go to my email and nothing is there.

  Hi,

  You would get your login password from whoever runs the FTP server you are trying to log into. Usually that would be your web hosting company.

  Ok...once more. Its my android phone I am using. So whoever yhe ftp or whatever your talking about....i have no clue. It seems to me that its juat not real. I only have close to 6000 points. But I feel that fetch is just bull crap. When I get....check email and it'll walk you thru....on any other app...i have never gotten this much run around. And from the way it looks...its not just me having this problem.

  Hi Tina,

  This message board is for the Mac FTP program named Fetch. It sounds like you have having an issue with some other program named Fetch; I'm sorry that I can't help you with that.

  I have not used Fetch for a few weeks and I have forgotten my password. I thought it was Arbacia#80, but this does not work.
