Hi,
To follow up with the solution that Bo found: uncheck the "Add filename extension when uploading: Text files" box in the Upload section of Preferences.
Thanks,

I am trying to edit a .htaccess file on the server by editing from within Fetch.
I click on the .htaccess file, choose Edit, add a directive, save, and refresh, but the changes are not made to the .htaccess file.
But, I do see that a .htaccess.txt file has been generated with the changes (why).
Drag and dropping a .htaccess from my Mac doesn't overwrite the file on the server.
I can modify the .htaccess file via the terminal using pico with no problem.
At one point I could click edit and make changes, or drag and drop from my mac, it would really be nice if I could do that again!!!
Please advise...
