When I try to open fetch, that little old puppy keeps on running but nothing happens.

Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents?

    Thanks,

The first thing I'd try is unchecking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences. If that does not work I would check to make sure that your OS X firewall is turned off (in the Sharing panel of System Preferences).

    Thanks,

Thanks Jim. Unchecking PASV worked a treat!
