I'm downloading and unstuffing files from a co-worker whose files usually work. Just as the file finishes downloading, the unstuffing stops and shows this error:

The file could not be decoded because the format of this stuffit file is too new.
Stuffit file format is incompatible with Fetch see Fetch help"
    I'm using:
    iOS 10.7.5
    Stuffit Destinations 15.0.7
    Fetch 5.7.4

It appears all my software is latest versions. What is the problem?

    Thanks.

It could be that your co-worker has upgraded to a newer version of StuffIt, and therefore Fetch's built-in StuffIt decoder can no longer handle the file. To test that theory I would try having StuffIt Expander decode the file instead of Fetch. To do that:

    1) Select the file in the Fetch file list
    2) Click the Get Info button
    3) Set "After transferring a file like this:" to "Save and open the file"
    4) Uncheck the "Automatically decode files like this" box
    5) Set the "Open files like this with:" menu to StuffIt Expander

Let me know if that fixes the problem with this file.

    Thanks,
