Fetch Softworks

Can't update Fetch- Please Help! (2 posts)

  I have downloaded the update for Fetch from the website, and when I try to drag it into my "Applications" folder, I get the following error message:

  "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the item."

  I have administrative access on this machine, and I have verified/repaired permissions several times, restarted, logged off and even tried shutting down. I have downloaded the file 3 times now, only to get the same results.

  Using an Intel Mac Pro with 2x2.66Ghz Processors, 3GB RAM, etc.

  Ideas welcomed. Thanks in advance.

  Hi,

  Is there an older copy of Fetch in the Applications folder already? If so, I would try moving it to the Trash (or some other folder, if you want to hold on to it) first, and then copying the new version of Fetch into the Applications folder.
