I am unable to upload files to my webspace. When I try to upload, I choose the file and click ok and the dog begins running. And running. And running. He never stops and the blue circle on the right never completes itself, and I have to click "stop." Then there is no indication that anything has happened in the folder of the webspace. But if I quit fetch and reopen it, the folder has the name of the file and says 0 k (zero k). Sometimes when I click "stop" I get the cursor that indicates something is happening, but nothing happens and I have to force quit fetch.

I have checked "passive ftp" and upgraded to the newest firmware for my dsl router. Is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks

Here are some questions and things to try:

Do you have the same problem uploading to the incoming folder on ftp.fetchsoftworks.com (leave the User ID and Password fields blank when you connect to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com, and ignore the "Permission denied" statement in the file list after you enter the incoming folder)?

Does it make any difference if you connect your Mac directly to the DSL modem, rather than through a router?

Has anything changed in your setup since the last time this worked?

What sort of Mac do you have?

    Thanks,

Jim, I tried connecting my computer directly to the dsl modem and I was able to upload! Now I don't know what to do because we need the router! What do you think we should do?

    Thanks very much

I would contact the router vendor's tech support department. If you don't have any luck with them I would consider trying a different router.

    Thanks,
