I attempted to upload my iWeb file to my website (livemusicforweddings.com).

Placed the iweb file in htdocs, everything appeared to be working.

I entered the domain name in Webview ... was that the correct thing to do?

Also, what if I typed in the wrong address? Any way to check?

    Thanks very much.

    Hi Mike,

We'd like some more information in order to help you.

I went to your website's address and it seems to be working; is this an old website that you are trying to replace and the problem is it wasn't replaced?

Did you get an error when you tried to upload files with Fetch?

Or if neither of those is the problem, could you please describe more exactly what the problem is? That is, what steps you're taking and what you expect to happen, and what happens instead?

The WebView preference does not control the address of your website, or where Fetch uploads your webpage to. It merely provides a way for you to select a file in the Fetch window, and view it in your web browser. If you are getting an error from WebView, it may not be set up quite correctly; but that will not affect how your webpage displays. Let's try to make sure that all your other problems are addressed first, and we'll come back to setting up WebView correctly if you want.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
