Hi Richard,
Could you try again, and then choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the complete contents of that window? That will help us figure out what is going wrong.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Jim,
Thank you for the response. I tested with 2 other FTP software programs, and was unable to upload. I also tested on another computer, and with a different ISP (iPhone tethering) and was also unable to upload files. Here is the Fetch transcript window:

Fetch could not put “manageservices.asp” because the connection timed out. (There might be a problem with your network, or the server might not be responding.)

Hi Richard,
Could you try these steps:
1. Quit Fetch
2. Run Fetch
3. Choose Preferences... from the Fetch menu
4. Uncheck the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box
5. Try again to connect and upload your fileThanks,
Jim Matthews

Jim,
It was not checked. I tried checking it, but it made no difference.

Thanks for trying that.
Do I understand correctly that at this time none of the FTP clients you've tried is working correctly? If that is the case I would recommend contacting the server administrator, and asking whether something has changed recently on their end.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

I also have this problem with smal files under 100k. It happens with all FTP clients and all FTP host companies. It's either our apple router or ISP. Richard, did you ever find a solution?

Fetch 5.6 has been working well for me until yesterday. Now, I am unable to upload files to my FTP accounts. The first file uploads 99%, then times out. These are small files, around 5K. I have tested another FTP freeware program, and I am able to upload without incident. Any ideas? Thank you.
