    Hello,

I created my Web portfolio in iWeb, uploaded it using Fetch, viewed it using Webview (typed michaelamuck.info as the URL) and it came up at http://michaelamuck.info/Web%20Portfolio/Home.html.

It was supposed to come up at just michaelamuck.info... so changed the URL in the Webview thing and now it won't come up at all. And I can still go to the first link and view my portfolio there but it won't let me upload any changes to that URL now...

    What have I done wrong?

    Hi Michaela,

When I go to http://michaelamuck.info in my browser, your website comes up and everything looks in order to me, so it looks like you may have fixed the problem.

The URLs in WebView do not affect the actual URL of your webpage; the URLs you enter there are just so that you can view your webpage conveniently from Fetch. If the wrong URL gets entered there, clicking on the WebView button may do the wrong thing, but your webpage will still be available at its current address on the web.

I'm not sure why you would be having a problem uploading after fiddling with WebView; WebView also should not affect upload locations.

Anyway, we can help you fix WebView if you'd like, and if you're still having a problem uploading, let us know and we'll investigate.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
