Hi Clive,
No, there's no need to purchase Fetch again.
To install Fetch on a new Macintosh, you can just download a new copy of Fetch from our website to your new Mac, and then enter your serial number information into the new copy.
You can download the current version of Fetch from our home page:
Downloads of older versions are also available from our downloads page.
If you do not know your serial number information, send us an email and we can look it up for you.
If you want to move your shortcuts from your old Mac to a new Mac, please see the "Moving shortcuts to another Macintosh" topic in Fetch Help, or you can read it on the web at this address:
http://www.fetchsoftworks.com/FetchWebHelp/Contents/Tutorial/MovingShortcuts.html
Please let us know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

As a follow-on to Clive's question, I am keeping my desktop but just got a laptop for travel. Under the Fetch license, should I buy a 2nd copy of Fetch for the laptop, or is it OK if one user installs Fetch in more than one location? (Most applications go the first route, and I don't mind doing so if that's also the case with Fetch).

Hi Ben,
The Fetch license permits one user (i.e. you) to install their copy of Fetch on both a desktop and a laptop, so there's no need for you to purchase a second license (but thanks for offering!).
If you want to install Fetch on more than two computers, or have two different people use Fetch on two different computers, we require that you buy additional licenses.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

I'm using a single user version I bought of Fetch, but now I'm changing from a desktop Mac to a Laptop - how can I transfer my Fetch to the laptop? Or do I have to purchase it again as a separate piece of software?
