How di I chang the file permissions after I have already put them in the directory.
I went to Remote and chose Send FTP Command(s) and typed:
    chmod 755 (filename)

And got Serer Response: CHMOD not understood.

    what am I doing wrong?

The correct FTP command is "SITE CHMOD 755 (filename)" rather than "chmod 755 (filename)". Or you could use the "Set Permissions..." command in the remote menu, and not have to do any typing.

    Thanks,
