Hi,
This sounds like a problem with the server. SITE CHMOD is the standard command for changing permissions via FTP, so an FTP server saying it doesn't understand it is unexpected indeed.
You should contact the folks who maintain the server and have them look into the problem.

I'm trying to change the sercurity settings for a CGI, and I keep getting this message:
"Fetch could not get permission for "feedback.cgi" because the FTP server sent an unexpected response.
Check the Fetch Transcript window for more information. Server responded: "'SITE CHMOD 775 feedback.cgi': command not understood."
I get the same response when trying to change the settings on every file in my FTP bin. Any ideas why it's doing this and how to fix it?
