    Hi

    I know how to set CHMOD 777 & 755, but how does one set 666 & 644?? (actual settings thru the set file permssions please;)

    To specify the file mode 666 you'd check all the read and write boxes, and none of the search/execute boxes. To specify 644 you'd check all the read boxes, and the owner write box.
