Hi,
No, that isn't a stupid question. The answer is that it should not matter. Either way you should end up with a Zip archive on the server.
Thanks,

I am new to Fetch having just purchased the newest version and I cannot find this question on the message board or FAQs so I hope this is the place to ask it.
Does it matter if I compress a folder into a Zip Archive on my desktop before I launch Fetch or should I let Fetch do the compression by highlighting Zip Archive in the FORMAT pull down bar.
It may sound like a stupid question, but I am just learning Fetch.
