Configuration for AOL and DSL (2 posts)

    I've just installed Fetch 4.03 on a new Mac G4 and have DSL. I can't get the AOL FTP server to recognize my account. I've been using Fetch to upload to AOL FTP for years, so I know I am doing that right. I've also checked to insure the passive mode is enabled in prefs. Any ideas on what is wrong?

    I don't think it's possible to access AOL's member web space with an FTP client like Fetch unless you are dialed into AOL with an analog modem. I don't think that is supported over DSL connections. I suggest contacting AOL to see what your options are.
