Hi,
Are you using Little Snitch or another network monitoring program, such as Norton, NetBarrier, Cisco VPN, etc? You can check by opening System Preferences and clicking on the Network icon; network monitoring software would be listed on the left side of the window. There appears to be a problem with macOS Big Sur's support for network monitoring apps that causes empty file lists in Fetch.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Hi,
Yes, i'm using Little Snitch. And indeed, if I deactivate Little Snitch, I find my folders and files. Thank you for this information. Thanks,

Same issue here. However, turning off Little Snitch's Network Filter doesn't enable me to see ALL files in subfolders - only the folders.
I suspect this is a Fetch issue since with Cyberduck, etc, I can see everything.
I prefer Fetch, and prefer not to disable security software...
Is there a fix coming?
Thank you,

Hi Glenn,
Unfortunately I believe you have to delete Little Snitch altogether to remove the conflict.
I am trying to gather more information about the problem, but at this point it appears to be Apple's bug to fix.
Thanks,

I have the same problem of disappearing files and I, too, use both Big Sur and Little Snitch.
Following advice elsewhere in Fetch, I tried using another FTP client (Simple Client - from the App Store) for comparison and that does allow me to see and transfer files, even with Little Snitch working.
I'm not sure if this will help you to find a bug, but I thought I should mention it.

I'm having the same problem with GoDaddy servers. Initial connection shows folder contents but moving down or back shows empty screen. Refresh doesn't work.
Yes I'm using Little Snitch and giving Fetch full permissions. Both CyberDuck and Filezilla have no problems with FTP access with Little Snitch active so it must be something unique to Fetch.
Let me know if you need any debug logs. -

Hi,
I do believe that the Big Sur problem is specific to the macOS networking API that Fetch is using. Other Mac FTP clients that use other macOS APIs appear to be unaffected.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Hello, following the update to 5.8, I no longer see my folders or my files on the remote server.
I did the update because I switched to Big Sur on my mac. Thank you for your help.
