I'd be curious to see the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after an attempt to connect (it's listed in the Window menu). Mac FTP clients should have no problem with Linux servers.

It could be that the "champ" account is not allowed to upload files in that directory.
Another problem is that it looks like you are uploading the file in Text format. You want to use Raw Data for PDF files.

We recently changed providers for our FTP server, they set us up with a LENUX server and now only people with PC's can upload to our FTP site. The Mac users get the message "You do not have permission..." Any suggestions to tell our provider, they can't seem to figure this one out.
