Hi my connection is being constantly dropped "by the ftp server"
I'm trying to upload 3.4Mb .mov file to claranet.
I am pulling my hair out here with a deadline looming. I have reset the passive mode transfer toggle. Many times, and the sftp won't let me make a connection. Can you help??

    Hi,

It looks like the server is dropping the connection for some reason; I don't belive there is a setting you can change in Fetch to improve the situation.

I would recommend trying Fetch's resume upload feature, which will let you start the upload where you left off, instead of always starting at the beginning. That way, hopefully you can at least finish the upload.

For information on using the resume upload feature, see the Resuming uploads topic in Fetch Help (or just click the link here).

Let us know if resuming uploads works for you or not.

    Thanks,

thanks scott. I don't know whether the server has reset itself or it could only deal with 3.5Mb at at time, but I've resume uploaded the movie files, and met my deadline. Thanks for your help. Vive la fetch!
