Hello. This morning I suddenly got an error message.

Last night it was fine. I tried connecting to another server, and also to update Fetch and got the same message for all. Tried dumping preference file, same error. I can get in to ftp using a web interface, but every server I try to connect to using Fetch doesn't work. Help?

The following is my transcript file. Thank you!

    Hi,

You might try restarting your Mac. Please let me know if that does not fix the problem; the widowbryant.com server appears to be reachable from here.

    Thanks,

I did. I restarted everything, from the modem to my laptop. I even put all the info in manually, making sure my password was correct. I trashed the prefs
file and none of it made any difference.

Guess the next step is to reinstall Fetch. That's all I can think of to do.

Please note that I've used this program on nearly a daily basis for like 14 years, and this is the first I've ever seen of this.

    Thank you!

windowbryant.com is now unreachable for me. I would contact the web hosting company that hosts it, and let them know about the problem.

    Thanks,
