UPDATE: I called back and spoke to another rep who said they do indeed have that info. but to access it I need to find out from Fetch what port they have to open. All I know is it's a number sequence - does this help any?
Thanks again!

They don't seem to understand your question. I would try contacting them again to say that you want to upload your personal home page with FTP, and need to know the FTP server name, user id and password to use.
If that does not work could you post the URL of your cable company's home page, and I'll see if the information is online.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Time Warner Cable is my web service provider so I called them for the host name, user id, and password for my new connection- but I was told this information should come up automatically or through "DHCP", an address that may change on a daily basis, if I understood the gent correctly. He then passed the problem off. I think they are full of it but any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Natalie
