Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you dismiss that error message? The transcript may include clues to the problem.

I'm surprised that the server support person can connect to that name; my ISP says it doesn't exist. I would double-check the name with the hosting company.

When I type in the host, user ID and password in the "new connection "box then hit OK this message pops up:
"the connection was refused by the server".
I've spoken with my server support and he says he can connect fine with that information from his computer. Why can't I?
I did successfully transfer files a few weeks ago just after registering, now it won't work.
