    Hi guys,

I have made some amendments to a site and am attempting to upload ("Put") the html pages to the server, however I receive an error message when attempting to do so. Was wondering you could shed some light.

    The error states:

"Fetch could not put "Index.html" becuase the connection was reset by the server.

Contact the server administrator to verify that you have the correct hostname.
Serever responded: "Ok to send data" "

    appreciate any thoughts.. :)

    Hi,

We'd like some more information to help diagnose the problem.

After you try to upload and you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Hi Scott,

I'm getting the same error. Typically this happens when uploading large sites or subsystems, the last time it happened when I was uploading mediawiki on one of the sites. There seems to be no logic on when it happens but here's a cut of the transcript:

    PASV

..and then it shows the file list successfully.

    Hi ruohomac,

Random disconnects or connect resets while uploading a lot files are often caused by your router, or sometimes by the server you are uploading them to.

But if you could please send an email describing your problem (same as you wrote here) to:

    bb at fetchsoftworks dot com

we may be able to help find a solution for you.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
