I need more information to make a guess at what is happening. Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you see the problem? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open that window.

    Thanks,

Are you running Fetch 4.0.3? If not could you download a copy from http://fetchsoftworks.com/ and give it a try?

    Thanks,

This is puzzling; it looks as if the connection is being dropped before Fetch even has a chance to send any commands (other than the USER and PASS commands). One thing you could try is running the Terminal program (it's in the Utilities folder in the Application folder). Then type:

    ftp www.artcogallery.com

and hit return. You'll be prompted for a user id (swhiting) and password. Then type "dir" to get a list of files. Could you copy the text from the Terminal window and post it here?

    Thanks,

    Hi Jim,

This is the message I get under Terminal:
It wouldn't let me type in dir. I do hope this makes sense to you!
    Thanks,
    Beth

The server is dropping your connection, whether you use Fetch or the command-line FTP client. My best guess is that there's a problem with your account configuration on the server. I would send those transcripts to the server administrator, so they can look into the problem.

    Thanks,
