    Hi,
Could someone please help me. When I try to connect on the new connection box I just get 'connecting...' then after 2 mins or so a box comes up saying connection timed out. What's going on?
I don't have a clue of how to use this software it's all very new and complivated to me. To be honest I don't really understand the whole 'Host' & 'Server' thing. I know i'm with Wanadoo.co.uk.
I've just bought a domain name so i'm just wanting to get this sorted so I can get it up and running.
I hope someone can help. Thanks
    Rich

It sounds like the host name is not correct. I would ask Wanadoo for the hostname to use for FTP access to your site. If that does not help I would choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you see the problem.

    Thanks,

The server is saying that either hsavill@wanadoo.co.uk@fs is not the correct User ID, or the password you are entering is not correct for that User ID. You will have to ask Wanadoo for the correct information; they are the ones who should know.

    Thanks,
