Hi,
When a server that used to work fine suddenly no longer works, and you can connect successfully to other servers, this usually indicates a problem with the server you are trying to connect to.
You should contact the folks who run the server and ask them to look into the problem.
Please let us know if you have further questions after talking to them.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hi, I have this exact same issue. I have contacted GoDaddy (who runs my hosting) and they say all the servers are up. I've even pinged the network through my network utilities, and it works fine. Any suggestions?

Hi Mac,
We'd like some more information to help diagnose the problem. Could you please do the following?
* Quit Fetch.
* Open Fetch again.
* Try connecting to your server.
* After you receive the error, go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
* Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.We'll take a look and see if we can figure out what's going on.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hi djziploc,
The problem is there is no FTP server responding at those addresses. Fetch is calling, but nothing is answering.
So either there is a problem with the server, or that is not the correct hostname to use to contact the server.
In either case, you should contact the company or people who run the server and verify that you have the correct information, and if they say that you do, ask them to look at the server for problems.
Please let us know if you have further questions after contacting them.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hello, I have been having issues with my FTP connecting to the server, says the connection has timed out. Already called my web hosting site which is GoDaddy and they say all servers are up working fine, apparently my information is still the same. Because they told me from their side servers are not down. I called Fetch number too, even tried to unplug all devices and plug again.
I was able to connect months ago. I dont know what else to do.

Hi,
You should talk to GoDaddy again, because no FTP or SFTP server is responding at www.natmaydesign.net. Either the server is down, or (more likely) that isn't the correct hostname for FTP or SFTP logins to your server account.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

I was able to connect previously months ago.
The little dog runs and runs and then I get a message that says the connection timed out and there might be a problem with my network or the server is not responding.
I am able to connect to other sites.
I double checked the user name and password.
