    Hi guys,

    Weird and random issue.

I recently upgraded my Mac to the new Macbook Pro.

Before this, I had NO problem connecting to the FTP of my local printshop. Now I cannot connect to it. NOTHING has changed.

I can connect to the server through the website: files.innovativeink.biz:8000/

All of my other FTP servers work fine. I can connect to the Server though other FTP clients (cyberduck, Mac OSX's Finder, etc), but cannot connect with Fetch for some reason.

Here is the transcript after the error:

Fetch 5.3.1 (5D226) Intel running on Mac OS X 10.5.7 (9J61) Intel English
StuffIt Engine 0x820, StuffIt SDK Version 10.1.1b1
    Partial serial FETCHEX001-B3Q4-M3JR T
Connecting to files.innovativeink.biz port 21 (Mac OS X firewall is allowing connections) (5/29/09 9:51:51 AM)
Update check started at 05/29/2009 09:53 AM
Update check skipped at 05/29/2009 09:54 AM (next check after 05/30/2009 02:29 AM)
Connecting to files.innovativeink.biz port 8000 (Mac OS X firewall is allowing connections) (5/29/09 9:59:23 AM)
    Connected to 24.73.75.214 port 8000 (5/29/09 9:59:23 AM)

    Thanks!
    Jason

I can't connect to files.innovativeink.biz either, using either Fetch or a command-line FTP client, so I think there's an issue on the server end.

Can you still connect with Cyberduck? Could you post a transcript?

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

Thanks for the reply. I had to use: files.innovativeink.biz:8000 to connect online

I can still connect in Cyberduck, but cannot find how to give you the transcript from there... Any idea?

What do you enter into Cyberduck to connect? Could you copy the URL it displays (between Server: and Username: in its connection dialog) and post that?

Also, if you choose "Toggle Log Drawer" from the View menu in Cyberduck do you see anything after you connect? If so I'd be interested in seeing that.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Cyberduck is connecting to the server with WebDAV. Fetch does not support WebDAV, just FTP, SFTP and FTPS.

    Thanks,
