When trying to download a large colletion of files, Fetch stops with the following message:
"stopped at <filename> because connection to SFTP com broken"

This happens at different files and is not because there's a problem with the file on which the connection was broken.

Are there any settings in Fetch that can make the SFTP connection during large downloads more robust?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

The most likely cause of broken connections that happen at different points when downloading the same set of files are either a problem with the server, or something in your network. There are no settings in Fetch that will likely help with this problem, sorry.

If you connect to the Internet via an Airport Base Station, or other device that lets you share one Internet connection with multiple computers, it could be causing the disconnects (some of these devices handle transferring lots of files quickly poorly). If you are connected in this way, you could try connecting your Mac directly to your cable or DSL modem and see if this helps.

Also, you may also want to try a different FTP client and see if it works better for you. Please let us know if any of these suggestions help.

    Thanks,
