    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me what could cause the following error:

    200 PORT command successful.
    RETR A20906Q.jpg
    150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for 'A20906Q.jpg'
    400 Transfer failed: Conversion buffer overflow.
    ftp_retrieve: -30000 (state == RGET_RETRIEVING)

    Is there anyway to fix this or workaround it?

    Thanks,
    Steve

    I don't think I've seen that error before. It's coming from the server, but I don't know why a server would have to do any "conversion" on a JPEG file. Do you know what kind of server it is?

    Thanks,

    It's a .NET v.1.0.0 server operating on virtual directories. Nothing would surprise me regarding what this company's server would try to do. I've had nothing but problems with them getting it configured properly in the first place.

    Regardless, I have a workaround where each download theCurrentItem command is in a try. Seems to be ok now.

    Thanks,
    Steve
