Hi,
I'm not seeing that in my testing. Do you see the same issue if you download the files, and then upload them (rather than dragging them from one server to the other)?
Thanks

Whenever there is network activity, it spikes CPU usage. Just sitting there is fine, but upload/download/navigate folders all spikes the CPU.
Is there anything I can supply that might assist you?

Hi Jay,
The next time it happens could you open Activity Monitor, select Fetch, and choose "Sample process" from the menu that appears when you click the icon that's a circle with three dots inside it? You could then send the sample to bugs@fetchsoftworks.com . I'll take a look and see if anything jumps out.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Hi Jim,
I'm having the same problem since I've downloaded Ventura, FTPs are now sending much slower then before. I'll send you my Sample Process too on email if that's okay for you to check it out and advise?
Many thanks

Hey Jim,
Since upgrading to Ventura (using Fetch 5.8.2), transferring a number of files causes fetch to slowly grind to a halt and max out the CPU.
Using one window, downloading a few hundred files, it starts off OK and slows down as it progresses. Using two windows to transfer server to server, it's unusable it's so slow.
CPU process consistently sitting at or around 100%.
As an example, I am trying to transfer 552 files from one server to another (no choice but to use FTP!) - Fetch started by saying 9 minutes remaining - it now says 6:52 remaining, over an hour later. This is only 7.7mb of files and the connection is 1Gb/s. Fetch worked like a dream before Ventura upgrade.
Hope that's enough info for you.
Cheers!
