I have never had to do this before, because a CR (CAMERA RAW) files can't be read by browsers, therefore i have NEVER used them on websites.. HOWEVER we are working with a photographer remotely who needs to upload his RAW files to our server so that we can download them to edit them and THEN turn them into jpg's

My question is, WHAT FORMAT DO I UPLOAD WITH??

its not a standard image, and CR files have meta data in them..

    I would appreciate the help

    Hi,

Camera Raw files are binary files, so uploading them using Binary (Raw Data) should be correct and preserve both the picture information and the metadata.

Fetch's Automatic upload format should upload them correctly as binary files as well, but if you want to be sure, use Binary format.

If you run into problems, let us know and we'll try to help out.

    Thanks,
