Is there a way to put fetch on my website so that my customers (who are not computer savy) can upload files to my ftp server.

    Hi,

If you want to allow customers to upload files to your FTP server, the simplest solution is to set up what is called an "anonymous FTP dropbox." This is a folder where anyone can drop files into it, but only the site owner (that is, you) can look in the folder and retrieve the files that have been dropped.

Once this is set up, your customers can run Fetch (or any other FTP client program) to put the files in the folder, and you can use Fetch to pick up the files.

However, Fetch cannot create the dropbox folder for you - it requires making changes to the server setting that Fetch cannot make. So you need to ask your service provider (the company or person that owns and runs the server) if they offer the ability to set one up. If your provider doesn't offer this service, pair.com is one that does.

    Thanks,
