  How do I use the Widget feature in dashboard (i.e. drag files to the dashboard widget) when dashboard will not allow be to interact with the finder when it is running?

  Hi Matt,

  The trick is to select files in the Finder, start dragging them, and only open Dashboard after you start dragging - then continue dragging the files to the widget.

  You might also want to look into Fetch's droplet shortcuts, which you can also use to drag files to upload without having to enter connection information.
