I'm sorry that things aren't clearer. "Create Default Shortcut" creates a shortcut with the information that is currently entered in the Host and User ID fields. So you want to move steps 2 and 3 after step 4.
If you want to get rid of shortcuts you made previously hit Cancel in the New Connection window, choose "Fetch Shortcuts" from the Window menu, select the shortcuts to delete and choose "Remove Shortcut(s)..." from the Customize menu.
Thanks,

I am running Mac OS10.2.4 (Jaguar) and Fetch 4.0.3. I can't seem to get the "Default Shortcut" to hold my information. Every time I launch Fetch, I get the usual blank windows, which, of course, I must manually add my website information.
Here's precisely what I've been doing:
1) I launch Fetch
2) I go to the shortcuts pop-up window and select "Create Default Shortcut"
3) I name my shortcut
4) I then fill in my "log on" information, saving my password in "keychain"
5) I click "Okay" and it logs me into my website info just fine.
However, after I quit and launch Fetch the next time, my default shortcut windows are blank and, again, I have to add the information manually.
I certainly would appreciate any help anyone could give me on this issue.
Many thanks, and best regards from the Cayman Islands!
