    I am unable to delete several .qxb and .sitx files from my site which is very irritating. Is there some way round this please?

    Hi Linda,

    Sorry to hear you're having problems. Could you please do the following?

    * Quit Fetch.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your site.
    * Try to delete one or two of the problem files.
    * Then choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste it into a reply to this message.

    We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Hi Linda,

    It looks like the problem files all have spaces in their names.

    Unfortunately, some servers let you upload files with spaces in their names, but then won't let you delete them. It looks like you have one of those servers.

    There's nothing Fetch or another FTP client can do; you'll need to contact your hosting provider or server administrator and ask them for help in removing the files.

    And then try to avoid uploading files with spaces in their names to this server (hard to remember, I know, since the Mac deals just fine with files with spaces in their names!)
