  Under earlier versions of Fetch, holding the Option key with a (remote) file selected would change the "Get File" button to Get... Clicking on Get... would display a dialog prompting to get a file with the (remote file) selection in the file name field. With Fetch 5, you can click on Get with the Shift key held down to approximate this behavior, but if a file is selected on the remote side, it is not included in the dialog. I would really like to be able to have the selected file in the dialog to make simple edits to it, rather than having to type it in from scratch.

  Hi Mike,

  Thanks for the feedback. Displaying the name of the selected file in the Get Other dialog is on our to-do list for a future release of Fetch 5.
