Hold down Shift to make the Get command available when nothing is selected -- you'll be prompted for the name of the file to download.
Thanks,

Fetch Softworks
- Page 1
Trying to download from non-listing directories.
OK with Fetch 4.02
Not OK using Fetch 5.1
Using 4.02
TYPE I
200 Type set to I
SIZE <filename>
213 52412416
MDTM <filename>
213 20060808034702
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (XXXXXXXXXXXX).
RETR <filename>
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for <filename> (52412416 bytes)
ABOR
This works fine here using Fetch 4.0.2 using GET command on a server with disabled directory listings (have to know exact filename to download).
I can replicate the success in Fetch 4.02 by using "send FTP command"..
PASV
RETR <filename>
When I try this in Fetch 5.1
Firstly with no directory listing the GET command is not available
If I use the "send FTP command"..
PASV
RETR <filename>
The command is "sending" but never seems to open a binary mode connection to allow the download.
PWD
257 "/outgoing" is current directory.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (XXXXXXXXX).
RETR <filename
Why does the GET statement now in V5.1 only work if the directory is visible to select the file. V 4.02 allowed one to download from a non-visible directory by typing in the known filename.
Your comments please.
