    Fetch 4.0.1 with OS 10.1
    Use internet config: OFF
    Use Passiv Mode Transfer: ON

When I try to copy or mirror a folder with pdfs
in it, it opens Acrobat reader on the MAC, and then "hangs" I have to force-kill fetch,

    Any clues? Settings? Config changes?

    Thanks,

    Ronald

You should be able to turn off post-processing of PDF files. Choose "Post-Processing..." from the Customize menu.

And I'll try to find out why it's hanging.

    Thanks,

I also have this problem when downloading pdf files. If I choose post processing from the preferences menu the software replies that this is controlled by internet config and cannot change it. My server works only with internet config without using passive mode. We are using MAC OSX server ftp mode.

I am also expereincing this problem when downloading .pdf files. I have internet config on and passive mode off because our MAC OSX server supports this mode. I cannot change the postprocesing options --- the message says it is controlled by Internet config, but going there shows no options for postprocessing.

I understand from Adobe that the Acrobat 5 plug-n does not work and hangs the system!

Turnning "Use Internet Config" off will let you control the Post-processing settings, but it should not change anything else (i.e. you should still be able to connect to your server fine).

In the next release it will be possible to edit the Post-processing settings regardless of the "Use Internet Config" setting.

    Thanks,
