Hi,
Have you tried using the Mirror command? It will only download (or upload) files that are newer than what's already at the destination.
For more information, see:

Thanks,

I'll look into it. Sometimes my FTP host will change the time. That and they are 9 timezones apart from me. Don't know if mirroring based on time will work.
Filename, yes, filemtime, probably not.

Many FTP servers let Fetch determine the modification date in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, aka Greenwich Mean Time), which solves the time zone problem. And even if your server does not support that it would only mean that files could get downloaded twice when they're less than 9 hours old; after that they should be skipped.
Thanks,

I really would like to skip downloading a file that I already have.
I have 400 eBooks in 3-4 different formats each, and thus extensions. (.pdf, .epub, .mobi)
These go back to 2007. I make several new, per month, I create my eBooks on my server (using TCPDF), and then download a copy of each format (extension) to local hard drive.
I just don't like downloading all 400 every time! I would rather that Fetch skip over the same-file-name.
Thanks in advance for help on this.
