Hi,
If you are suddenly experiencing uploads that do not complete and cannot be resumed, usually this means that you are out of space in your account on the server. Unfortunately most servers do not give a useful error message when this happens, so Fetch cannot give you one either (because the server doesn't tell Fetch).
You should contact the people who run the server (your hosting company) to find out if that is the case or not; if it is, you will either need to delete older files that you no longer need or ask how to get more space.
If this does not turn out to be an out-of-space problem, let us know and we'll investigate further.
Thanks,

Hi Scott,
It was probably because I was using 4.03. I downloaded 5.5 and all the files that failed earlier worked just fine...thanks!!!

Hi,
Yes, it could be that your server upgraded their software such that it wasn't compatible with Fetch 4.0.3; Fetch 4.0.3 is eight years old and so isn't compatible with all modern FTP servers.
Glad to hear the most recent version of Fetch is working for you. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Best,

Hi Scott;
I also upload files to a host server and recently it has been stalling. I zip all my files and last night there was
hardly any jobs on the host server and it still stalled, I am running Fetch 5.6... I hope you can shed some light on this
as it is imperative that my jobs upload overnight.Cheers

Hi Matt,
If you could email your Fetch.log to us, we'll take a look and see if we can figure out what might be going on.
To find the Fetch.log file:
* Click the desktop background to select the Finder.
* In the Finder, go to the "Go" menu and choose "Home"
* Open the Library folder
* Open the Logs folder
* Find the file named "Fetch.log"Attach it to a reply to an email to bugs@fetchsoftworks.com .
The file may be somewhat large, so you may want to zip it before sending it to us.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

I send large files up to a gig. Lately these have stalled with a minute or less left!!! This means I am sending incomplete files to my clients. All "resume" features seem not to work. All in all Fetch has become useless.
