After about an hour of a four-hour upload in get a message:
"FTP server dropped connection. Try again or contact server admin"
(I'm working on an Imac, and have sent successfully to LULU many times in the past.)

I've tried about 3 times with this one.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, JC

    Hi Jerry,

Does Lulu have a limit on the amount or size of files you can upload? That is, do you have an account, and the account might have size limitations?

Often, uploads that repeatedly fail at about the same time or place indicate that you are out of space in your account on the server; I do not know if Lulu has such limitations or not, however.

It could be that Lulu's servers are having problems today and that is the source of the problem.

If the upload fails again, I would recommend trying Fetch's resume upload feature, which will let you start the upload where you left off after the connection is dropped, instead of always starting at the beginning. (Not all servers support resume upload, but many do.)

For information on using the resume upload feature, see the Resuming uploads topic in Fetch Help (or just click the link here).

If the connection drops again immediately after trying to resume an upload, that is often another indicator of a space issue.

Please let us know if this helps, or if you have more questions.

    Thanks,
