The URL should start with the characters "ftp://". Does it work if you prepend that to the URL you are using?
Thanks,

Prepending the ftp:// fixed it. How silly of me. I assumed it know that since it was a FTP program. :-) Thanks! -W

Hello,
I'm trying to use the script "DropUpload" which came with Fetch 4.0.1 under MacOS 9.1 on a PBG3p. I have configured the DropUpload with my user:password@host/path info alternatively by hand typing it and by dragging it from Fetch into a text editor and then copy and pasting that into the DropUpload dialog.
I can get to my webhost and upload pages using the regular fetch connections but if I use DropUpload then I get the message:
Can't get url "xyzfoo%40xyzfoo.org:PASSWORD@207.218.239.999/%2fvar/www/html" of application "Fetch 4.0.1".
The above url is direct from Fetch and works in a normal Fetch window (except the password, user, domain and IP have been changed :-).
I've read through the FAQ, built in help and message boards (using search) but haven't found a solution. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Walter
