There's an option to no upload dot files (including .DS_Store files) in uploads. Go to the Misc section of Preferences, and choose "Don't upload dot files in folders" from the Obscure Options pop-up.

Thanks. When I saw that, I must have jumped to thinking about .htaccess files. Sorry.

It would be REALLY neat if Fetch automatically eliminated .DS Store files from uploads.
