Fetch Softworks

  Fetch was working fine, then one day I came to work and it gave me an "Error -1" message when trying to connect to my server.

  I have two macs here, both have fetch. One can connect fine and one gets the error message. My server is not down. The other computer can connect to it. I have not changed any preferences.

  I am not able to connect to ftp.softworks.com.

  Here is my transcript:

  In my preferences:

  Under firewall I have Proxy type NONE
  and PASV is checked

  Also in my Mac OS X System Preferences, under Sharing and Firewall if it says "Firewall Off"

  I have now downloaded Fetch 5.1

  SAME PROBLEM!!!!

  Here is the new transcript:

  This time I am able to connect to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com

  Im at the end of my rope with this program

  Make sure that you're connecting to the correct IP address or hostname. I wasn't able to connect to any of the ones in your transcript, which suggests that they aren't correct. For example, ftp.softworks.com should be ftp.fetchsoftworks.com.
