    i can't seem to delete a directory instead it just tells me the directory isn't empty. is there anyway to get around this?

    You might try choosing "Send LIST -al to UNIX servers" from the Obscure Options pop-up menu in the Misc. section of Fetch Preferences. If that doesn't work could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you see this error? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to reveal the transcript.
