Maybe PureFTPd objects to the ADAT command. The "SetSecretOptions" script in the Fetch Example Scripts folder lets you turn off the sending of ADAT commands -- does that resolve the problem?

I've been trying to connect to a RedHat server running pure-ftpd on our LAN, from OS X using Fetch 4.0. After entering my username and password, I get a message saying the connection was reset by the server. Here's what the transcript says:
220-=(<*>)=-.:. (( Welcome to PureFTPd 0.97.7 )) .:.-=(<*>)=-
220-You are user number 1 of 50 allowed
220-Local time is now 17:35 and the load is 0.00. Server port: 21.
220-This is a private system - No anonymous login
220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.
ADAT
421 This is a private system - No anonymous login
USER frankg
get_reply():con_conn->Getline() returns -3253
I have no trouble getting in using other FTP clients (including OS X terminal).
Also, I can get through to other FTP servers using this copy of Fetch.
Any thoughts?
