That error means that the Internet Config application could not be found in the desktop database. It might help to rebuild the desktop database.
I'm sorry but I can't provide an up-to-date listing of all of Apple's error codes; they change too quickly.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

On OS8.6 using either Fetch v4.0-PPC or v4.0.1-PPC, I get the error dialog "Error Number -5012" when I access the "Customize/Internet Config…" menu or the "Customize/Suffix Mapping…/"OK" button" or the "Customize/Post-Processing…/"OK" button"
-"Internet Config" v2.0.3 extension is present in the Extensions folder.
-"Internet Config" v2.0.2 application is present in several places on the boot-volume. Works properly when accessed manually.
-The "Internet" v1.0.1 (OS8.5) control panel is present in the Control Panels folder. Also works properly when accessed manually.
What is going on here? What exactly does this error message mean? Could you please send me a complete error listing for future reference?
Many Thanks
