Hi Lorayne,
If Fetch cannot log in to a specific FTP site, but all others work, that pretty much indicates that there is a problem with the server that is hosting the FTP site. It sounds like something is misconfigured on the server that is preventing the new username and password from working.
If you want to post a transcript we can take a look and see if we have any further advice, but most likely the client needs to look at their server more carefully and try to figure out what is going on.
To post a transcript:
* Quit Fetch.
* Open Fetch again.
* Try to connect to the server.
* Go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
* Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hi Lorayne,
Thanks for the transcript.
I did a little research and "530 Not logged in" from this particular server software means the server didn't like the username and/or password you used, and that appears to be the problem as shown by the transcript as well.
I'm afraid this is really a problem on their end, or perhaps they gave you the wrong username or password information.
You should ask the client to tell you the username and password again, and make sure that they gave you the correct information.
If that doesn't help, you might ask the client to reset the password for that username and ask them to tell you the new password (or ask them to give you a completely different username and password to try).
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Thanks for all your help Scott. I have forwarded all your replies on to my client. Just don't understand why others can access the ftp site with the same user name and password and I can't... I feel shunned. (LOL Just kidding! :-D )

I can't access my clients ftp site because I keep getting this error message. I can access other ftp sites, just not theirs! I can get in with their old password and user name, but not the new one. The old un and pw are files from last year, and not what I need.
What does "Not Logged In" mean and how do I "Log In?" I've searched all the help topics in Fetch and even went into my KeyChain and Passwords to make sure they were right, no help. Client is baffled and so am I! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
