Error - connection attempt timed out (3 posts)

    using Mac OS 9 & trying to get into http://website.lineone.net/~stephd I got the above message.
    I can access the site directly with that URL via explorer.
    any sugestions ?

    What hostname did the server administrator say to use for FTP access? It looks like website.lineone.net does not answer FTP connection attempts.

    yes - I had got the wrong address - moral of the story is don't rely on memory when you haven't used something for a while
