I keep getting an error message I can not download to an ftp site I get this message:

Server response: Could not open data connection to port 56790. Operation timed out.

Any suggestions what I do to get rid of this message? so that I can get some work done?

The first thing I'd try is changing the setting of the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of Preferences; i.e. check it if it's unchecked, uncheck it if it's checked.

If that doesn't help could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you get the error message? The information there is usually helpful for trouble-shooting.

    Thanks,
