  When i am trying to connect to this server. The connecting time takes about 3 mins and then fetch says "Error number -1" What does this mean?

  Hi,

  This means that Fetch cannot find the server to connect to.

  The two most likely reasons are that the hostname you entered does not exist (most likely there is a typo in the hostname you entered, or in the information you were given); or that the server exists but is not responding to FTP connections.

  In either case, you should contact the folks who run the server you are trying to connect to, and double-check that you have the correct hostname, username, and password, and that their server is working correctly.

  If they assure you that all is in order, you have the correct information, and you still cannot connect, please let us know and we can investigate further to see if we have further suggestions.
